PostHeaderIcon Double Size Adjustable Bed Sheets

Double adjustable bed sheets are simply the coverings which are intended for twin size mattresses. These kinds of beds in many cases are utilized in children’s rooms and guest suites. Most of the double adjustable bed sheets options tend to be designed and made for young kids’ themes. You’ll find these kinds of bedding choices anywhere linens are sold.

Double beds and mattresses have been very popular for many years as a way to preserve space or as a way for two people to use a single bed room together. In cases where they are for room sharing, often the bed linen matches in order to have a uniform look, hence a better looking bed.

In most double sets you will find the fitted sheet, the flat-sheet, just one pillow case, a comforter and probably a bed ruffle. The actual fitted sheet may be the base sheet which is called fitted since it offers pockets, which are made up from flexible materials, which fit round all the corners of the bed mattress.

Usually you can buy one pillowcase that is paired with the double adjustable bed sheets set because usually only one pillow can be used on the double bed. The outfit is finished off with the bed comforter or even some form of quilt or even bed cover. In some instances, this particular set includes a bed ruffle, which is positioned in the middle of the mattress and the box spring. It can be used to conceal the area under the bed.

You’ll find double adjustable bed sheets in many various styles. The kind of room where the bed linen is to be used in may give you an idea about what style you should have. For example if the double adjustable bed sheet is going to be for just a little girl’s room, then you might want to think about buying one that will show the girl’s preferences. In addition, it might be very suitable to get a set that’s printed and designed with bows and other prints that are feminine in style.

On the other hand, if you are designing a room for a boy, instead, you would most likely choose a set that has much more manly appearance. There are in fact plenty of grownup and more mature styles to select from. And for the guest room, the adjustable bed sheets might be of the floral nature or with a strong color to give the room a more sophisticated ambience.

No pesticide or toxic material is used in making of these sheets and they are so soft it is much liking sleeping on a cloud (if you have ever done that).

Don’t just buy your adjustable bed sheets willy-nilly. You will be sleeping on them every night for years to come, and you definitely want to make sure that you get sheets that fit and will be comfortable.

One of the first things you need to understand is the thread count and how they affect the quality of the sheet. The thread count is the number of threads per square inch. The thread count works in both directions as the sheets are made by crossing threads vertically and horizontally one on top of the other. Usually sheets with a higher thread count feel much more comfortable, but they are also made of thinner sheets so they tend to wear faster. However, a low thread count generally feels scratchy and rough.

Secondly you should understand the different types of fabrics, and you should definitely choose the best you can afford. The most popular sheet fabric is cotton but cotton tends to wrinkle. Flannel is good for those cold, warmer nights. Satin and silk feel smooth and soft. A good idea when choosing which type of fabric to use it to buy pillowcases in various fabric types and sleep on them for a few nights. You will quickly learn which type of fabric you like the best.

Finally, be sure to buy at least 2 sets of sheets that you like. Otherwise you will find yourself having to wash the same set over and over again with no backup. There is nothing like relaxing in the bed and spilling some wine or juice all over the bed right before you go to sleep. If you only bought one pair of sheets, you will be out of luck that night! This brings up one more point – be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for washing your sheets. You don’t want to ruin the sheets you just bought!

Beds That Need Adjustable Bed Sheets
Standardized sheets fit most beds well enough; however, beds that are odd shapes and sizes, or those that are adjustable need specially designed sheets. While standardized sheets may fit these beds somewhat, the corners may come off or they may not have that tight, crisp feel to them. The following types of beds most commonly require adjustable sheets.
Adjustable Memory Foam: Some beds using memory foam, or other versions of this pliable mattress, may require the use of adjustable sheets. Some densities and weights may require the mattress to be slightly thicker than a traditional style mattress, resulting in the need for an adjustable sheet.
Adjustable Air Mattresses: The adjustable air mattress can be various thicknesses, depending on how much air you use to fill it. Most modern air mattresses are very similar in size to a traditional mattress, although off-brands may vary in size and require adjustable sheets.
Electric Adjustable Beds: Adjustable beds are one of the most common reasons you need adjustable sheets. These beds move up and down into a variety of positions. Sheets need to mesh well with the bed to ensure that they stay in place. This includes Tempur-Pedic beds, hospital style beds, Select Comfort Beds and Craftmatic beds.
Buying the Right Sheets
Buying the correct type of sheets for adjustable beds or any other odd-shaped bed is not always easy. Some mattress manufacturers will provide suggestions for purchasing bed sheets for these beds. Look on the packaging or in the documents that come with your mattress to learn about the sheet size required for the bed.
Some companies sell specific, adjustable, bed sheets. These products are ideal for any bed that transitions from one shape into the next, such as when the head of the bed is raised into a higher position than the foot of the bed.
Craftmatic Sheets: For those with a Craftmatic bed, AB Lifestyle provides specially designed sheets to fit the bed perfectly.
LinenSpa: For hotel quality sheets, consider LinenSpa sheets. These fit most types of adjustable beds.
Kozy Komfort by Karen: Electric-bed, adjustable sheets from Kozy Komfort by Karen come in a variety of sizes to fit most adjustable beds.

PostHeaderIcon Adjustable Bed Sheets

There is a significant size difference when buying adjustable bed sheets versus standard sized bed sheets. Bedding for an adjustable bed mattress has to be able to accommodate the mattress’ ability to recline the upper body and raise the legs, whereas run of the mill flat mattresses only have to be concerned with length and width.
Sizing Is Different From Normal Beds! When purchasing bedding for your adjustable bed, whether Egyptian cotton bed sheets or some other material, make sure to double check the size on the package or you could wind up with a sheet that is several inches too narrow. The width for a single adjustable bed is 30 inches wide to 39 inches wide. The full size width jumps up to 54 inches. All three of these have the standard length of 74 inches. The larger adjustable beds have the standard length of 80 inches, and the width varies from 60 inches for the queen/dual queen size up to 108 inches for the dual super extra wide king bed. So don’t rip the sheet by forcing it to fit on a mattress it was not intended for. Get your money back or buy the correct size.
Adjustable Beds Are Great For Bad Backs!  Adjustable beds are popular for several reasons, but mostly for the bed’s ability to fit to the body’s natural curves. This allows for muscle relaxation, improved circulation, and overall support. Other than reasons adjustable beds are popular are the options of heat and massage in the mattress. Bedding for adjustable beds are available in many different textures and designs as it has become more popular. Cotton flannel bed sheet sets, cotton sheets, satin bed sheets, and cotton jersey knit bedding in as many colors and designs as can be imagined are now more widely available for adjustable beds ever before.

PostHeaderIcon Where can I find 500 thread count sheet sets?

I am having a heck of a time finding 500t count twin sheet sets for my queen size adjustable bed. Our town only has a Walmart but I have even tried online and the one set I did buy online was like tissue paper. I am looking for a quality set of sheets can anyone help?

PostHeaderIcon How can I make a platform (board or sheet of hard plastic) that will attach/screw on to my tripod head?

I got a new tripod for my camera recently and would like to convert my old one into something resembling a nightstand or tv tray; I was thinking of using a board or flat surface with a nut or something similar attached to the bottom that would be the right thread size to screw onto the tripod. The idea would be to have a platform/tabletop surface that could have its height easily adjusted up and down; I know they make things like these, but I’d rather not pay .00 for a 15 inch piece of plastic that’s ready-made to screw on to tripods (like this: http://amzn.to/9k4i2N) or 0.00+ for an adjustable end table (like this: http://amzn.to/a6UExN) when I can probably make something very similar myself for less than 5 bucks with the right equipment. problem is, I’m not very handy with this type of stuff and don’t really know how to go about attaching a threaded hole to a board or what type of threaded hole I should even be looking for. I figure it can’t be that hard, though. Any help?

What if I use king sized sheets on a queen bed ? Would that work ?
Thanks in advance.

PostHeaderIcon My 200mW green laser pointer doesn't light matches or pop balloons?

I got a 200mW green laser pointer recently and it is adjustable, I have tried every focus there is for over 10 seconds and nothing even gets warmer than the summer heat. I think I have been duped and I got a refund from the seller, but I am wondering if there is anything I can do to check if I have not been duped. I would like to say that I cannot pop a purple balloon with a black dot on it, light a match which has a black stick and a black dot on the head, and I cannot even burn or shrivel a nose tissue which I pinched and pulled into 2 sheets, so 1/2 ply of the already thin material. It does look great at night, I can point to stars.

Also, if you have a website that you bought a 200mW green laser pointer from that works, please post it, because I want one that works.
If you look up green laser lighting match then you will find they can, but I know I have been duped an I got a refund

PostHeaderIcon How can I reduce glare when photographing metallic objects?

I am starting up an Etsy shop to sell my jewelery, and I am having trouble getting nice, close-up shots of the jewelery using my flash, as it reflects off the shiny parts and washes out the photo, or obstructs parts of the piece. I have a good mountable flash with an adjustable angle, and bouncing it off the ceiling helps a little, but it is just too strong. Diffusing my camera’s built-in flash with a sheet of white paper is effective, but it’s difficult to hold the camera still. I don’t have the space or money to invest in some nice reflectors, so any advice on how to reduce the glare would be very much appreciated.
